「サックスプレイヤーの音色の違い」を数値的に見てみたいと思っていました。
そこで、 ToneDex を使って、名プレイヤーたちの音源を解析してみました。
まだ3人（ベン・ウェブスター、デクスター・ゴードン、マイケル・ブレッカー）だけですが、それぞれの音質の傾向がかなり違っていて、とても興味深い結果になりました。
I've always been curious — what kind of tonal characteristics do great saxophone players actually have?
Using ToneDex, I tried a small experiment to analyze a few recordings.
For now, it’s just three players — Ben Webster, Dexter Gordon, and Michael Brecker —
but their tone profiles already show striking differences.
